![]() ![]() So I was finally able to find some kind of crash log when Reaper hangs and needs to be force quit. So far this has not been an OS issue as far as I'm concerned. Windows 10 64-bit, latest updates installed 2 days ago. Even with the latest beta drivers the issue remains. I have contacted Focusrite support but so far none of the troubleshooting solutions we've tried out has worked. Right after that I started to have these issues and I really think it has something to do with the drivers and maybe one of the VST plugins being incompatible with them. ![]() Old audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 1st gen) drivers were uninstalled and replaced with new ones for current AI (Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen). 3 rd Generation, the internal speakers and its functionin g. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is a top selling option in the middle of the audio interfaces price range. Fixes issue where DAW channels 17-20 were not present on a Saffire Pro40 also available in previous 3.8b1 beta. I upgraded my Audio interface hardware back in December 2019 and after that the issues started. The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is a fantastic addition for your home studio. ![]() All I actually want is to get some information out of this crash log to locate the root cause: I have had issues with my audio recording app hanging recently and I think it has something to do with my audio interface. ![]()
